How To Use your Phone’s Internet to browse on your Computer

Good morning arewamobile tech blog readers, this technique i’m about to share with you is not something new for many people have since been using it to surf the net with their computer using their phone as a source of the network to initiate the process..

Without long story, here i am with the methods through which mobile-pc internet connection could be established.. I’m using Nokia Symbian and Android OS for demonstration.

For Symbian:

It is very simple, all you have to do is to get your symbian phone connected to your computer using a USB cable. After that, a message will pop up asking you to choose the connection mode. As ask for connection, Pc suit, mass storage, connect pc to web.. Choose connect pc to web and wait for it to get connected…

Three methods are involved here;

1st method
USB tethering, on your Android device, open Settings >Wireless & networks > More and find Tethering & portable hotspot. Tick the USB tethering option. A notification area symbol should appear to confirm that the phone is now tethered to your computer.

2nd method
Using bluetooth, go to Settings > Wireless & networks > More > Tethering &portable hotspot screen, tap Bluetooth tethering. On your computer, open Control Panel > Hardware and sound > Devices and printers, right-click your phone’s icon and select connect Connect using > Access point. Your phone should then display a notification that Bluetooth tethering is active.

3rd method
Using portable hotspot, Open Settings > Wireless & networks > More > Tethering & portable and check Portable Wi-Fi hotspot. (Your device may read Portable WLAN Hotspot.) Meanwhile on your computer, ensure wireless networking is enabled and scan for your Android device, which is usually listed as AndroidAP. Input the passcode as displayed in the Set up Wi- Fi hotspot screen on your phone (making any other changes that are required) and then the connection should be established.
